Street letter on Cowick Part-Night Street Lighting

The trouble with being quick of the mark with the “Thank You” newsletter is that you sometimes miss out on breaking news.

With a couple of delivery rounds still remaining, Cllr Heather Morris agreed with me that it would be beneficial to do a street letter centred around Devon County Counci’s plans to turn off strettm lights beetween midnight 30 and 5.30am – the so-called Part-Night Street Lighting.

So this is what we had to say to residents of Cowick Hill, Broadway and Parkway.

The joy of such a street letter is that I often get more direct repsonses than I do to the general newsletter.

So far, my e-mail box is receiving comments to the effect that Cowick residents around this area what the street lights turned OFF at night
